When fitting it is recommended that; The new chain is shortened using a suitable chain tool to the same number of links as the chain it is replacing You change the cassette at the same time as fitting the new chain to prevent slipping. If slipping occurs with new cassette you may also need to replace front chain rings. If unsure, please consult a qualified bicycle mechanic. You join quick links together using Missing-Link Pliers to ensure correct closure & prevent damage to the link.
